I got Shindoni and Spanky back from Jenny on Saturday!!! Oh my god, they look fantastic. Shindoni's never looked so beautiful, and Spanky's new attitude is so her. I'm in love all over again <3

Having Spanky all set makes me want another Yo ;0; I still really love Yuh, but would I like a whiteskin one better?? I don't know, I can't decide... ;_;

I think the next doll thing I'm gonna concentrate on is bodies, definitely. I need a body for Carrick, and then probably after Christmas a new one for Cecilia. Then hopefully a DD body for my Femi head, poor thing's been bodiless for so long ;0;

Then in the way way future I'd like to get an MSD Nagisa to complete a really cute trio with Jorie and Carrick. Then at some point one more Yo... And lastly, a tanned DS Bernard. I can't wait to see their new dark tan <3

Also, I forgot another birthday! Hooray for my goldfish memoryspan!!!! Jorie turned 2 on Aug 15th <3 He's been with me for 2 years. Next is Jack's birthday on Oct 22nd... he turns 3! :O

Back from Otakon! Holy shit, I had a friggin blast!!!!! I would reccomend it to anyone who's considered going. If you have good roommates, you will have an incredible time! I went with my boyfriend and 3 of his friends who are not into anime AT ALL. I mean, these guys are the furthest things from your regular congoers, and they loved it! There's something for everyone. And even though it was very large, I never felt overwhelmed. There was always something to do and someone to talk to.

We got drunk and partied the fuck out on saturday XD Holy crap, SOOO many funny awesome things that night, hahaha!!! And my boyfriend won 3rd place in the Hall Cosplay novice division!!! He was dressed as Zetsubou Sensei. I was so proud of him!! I taught him to sew, so it's very rewarding to see him win a prize for his work!

So, in short, I will definitely be going back next year! :D

I'm leaving for Otakon in 2 days! I'm super excited!!! :D Anybody else gonna be there?

One year ago, on June 22nd 2007, a very tall accident came into my life. I wasn't supposed to buy him, I was supposed to be saving for NY dolpa. But I bought him 2 days before dolpa, and since the first time I held him I haven't regretted it once. His name is Eslo, and I couldn't love him more if I tried <3

You know I'm lazy and slow about posting pics, but I swear I'll get to it! In the meantime, have some verbal visuals! :D

SO. Dolpa 3. Interesting, to say the least. I had a fuckin awesome time with Caitlan(NEXT TIME I'M COMING TO INDY!!!! 8D), and generally had a great time. But, I just gotta say my piece about the theft of the display dolls...

I think it was people working at FIT. Whether it was catering(who stood near the display dolls all day, lots of time to plan it), or security(who looked like they couldn't even secure their underwear to their asses), I really think it was someone had keys to the place, or could get in easily without looking suspicious.

Some people are saying that the dolls seemed to be chosen so it might have been an attendee, but I don't buy that. If it was someone who was knowledgeable about the dolls they would haven taken the SD16 girls over the minis, because they are worth more. As it was, only 1 Ruby was taken(the one wearing the outfit I wanted to buy, dammit). Unless they were taking them for thier individual collections.

Saturday night at the Gershwin, Kei's boy was almost taken(holy shit, never been more scared in my life). And I heard someone's wallet was stolen. Is it the heat that makes the thieves come out?? Damn.

Well, aside from the thievery, I need a Yo Tenshi Yuh. 8( There were 3 Yuh repaints in the Gershwin alone. And yup, I need one. Gonna repaint him too. Yup yup. Tooooooooooootally brokeified.

And there were a crapload of Reisners at Dolpa too! Len was the only default one though. I kinda wanna get her repainted, but I'm scared to send her out. I know who I'd get to do her, but I'm not too sure about sending her across the world quite yet. :/

And, in not Dolpa news, I wanted to post pictures of Robyn's girl Etain who I repainted for her, I hope she doesn't mind if I post these! I fell SO head over heels for her once I painted her. To be honest, the default faceup she had wasn't flattering to the sculpt at all. The sad brows made the poor thing look bug-eyed!! But she isn't really, it was just the faceup that made her look that way. Painting this doll shocked me, because I never looked into the potential that Peakswoods had! Really people, you all need to take a second look at Peakswoods dolls, because just look at what they're capable of:

Now, to anyone who didn't like Peakswoods dolls before... just try and tell me she isn't gorgeous ;D I love the sculpt's lips, they're just so perfectly pursed!!! <3

I never in a million years would have thought of doing her faceup this way. The inspirations Robyn gave me were tons of freckles, and Kiera Knightley's brows and lips. Sadly, I couldn't get the lips to be that deep saturated rose color like hers. They turned a little more reddish when I glossed them. But all in all.....I'M IN LOVE WITH ETAIN!!!!! 8D Okay, enough gushing, sorry ^^;

Also, I have another little guy who I may or may not reveal before I get his body... but I did a bangin' job on his faceup, so I might post him tomorrow. :3

In less pissed off news, my dollga wigs came in today(thanks Sher!!)! OMG the turquoise color is AMAZIIIIIIIING!!!! Otonashi looks like a frosty cool dream, all minty and pretty... I just tied a pink ribbon around his neck and left him lying naked because he looked so good in just the wig XD

I got one in goldenrod too, and I love the color, but don't like the style.
